Author and storytelling expert Johnny B. Truant returns for a discussion on the nature of reality itself: is there an objective world out there that we can directly experience, or is everything we know to be "real" simply a construction...a story? We discuss how sense data is converted into a "world" complete with labels and beliefs, how we might modulate our story to see aspects that are more conducive to happiness and human flourishing, going on a news diet, the nature of the subject of our stories (i.e., no-self realization), why social media and NextDoor in particular can be poisonous to our story-world, and MUCH more.
