Is It Possible That Agriculture and Ustrialization Played a Role?

The evidence that human brains have, on average, gotten smaller since prior to the agricultural revolution is based on measuring cranial volumesentially skull size. There's about ten % reduction in skull size of modern day humans compared to hunter gatherers to the agriculturalrevolution. And there are abundant data from looking at mri images of the brain of people with obesity, adults and lescence, showing that, on average,. overall, brain size is lower in the people with obesity.
