The supreme court is the most sort of, light, old timy, ritualistic environment in the united states government. They are used to an almost royal they are used to people treating them with a matter of respect that is almost anachronistic compared to what other public officials expect in the sday n age. People should be allowed to say, fu to the president. But supreme court justices are not used to that lack of deference.
