How to Change Your Brain for the Better

To be really wide open with empathy and compassion to another person, we have to grow the resources inside ourselves of autonomy and equanimity. In the saying, proper fences make for good neighbors. We can become truly more receptive and loving to other people by growing those inner strengths in ourselves. This isn't a meditation thing. I'm not thinking this is a moment. And certainly during formal meditative practice, you can use these methods to really help the fruits of your practice sink into you and transform you from the inside out.
