What Are the Significant Red Flags in the Case of Electrical Injury?
The clinical history is really important, as in, was there a loss of consciousness? You know, what was the voltage? And basily, if you've arrived at my e d and you're looking really well, your e c g is essentially normal, then i think at that point, you know, you can stop any further work up. That patient can be discharged. I think if you've got a patient who looks unwell, or, has e c g changes, then it's probably sensible to admit them for a period of observation,. just to make sure they don't deteriorate. We will deal with the emotional turmoil later.
