The Importance of Emotional Awareness
At the root of conflict is just a series of unexpressed needs. We never actually have been taught to express what's going on within ourselves in a way that's constructive and requires vulnerability. Most managers don't get training at all to be a therapist or counselor. So trying to be any one thing other than your own person is an unreasonable expectation.
