I don't see any evidence that Bazzel was responsible for anything like that. The main problem with that argument is that it assumes that the Seljuk invaders were comparable to the Arab invaders of the seventh and eighth centuries. They're not totally different enemies in every possible way. And so other than their Muslim, but that kind of irrelevant for the warfare.
