The Importance of Learning Polish
I think I probably somewhat naively sort of signed myself up to the chorus in Poland because they had said, oh yeah, come on over, you don't need to speak Polish. And then when I got there, I was like, oh, okay. There's only one way to really kind of start to understand how Poles make films and I need to learn Polish to do that. They had a language course there and everybody kind of started from zero. Like we had, you know, Colombians and Brazilians and Koreans all conversing in Polish. So yeah, it's quite something. That's pretty impressive. It's a hard language. Yeah.
