If the market's in a lock up day, like for down a thousand points, that's a terrible day to sell. So i think you definitely have to fight that desire to sell on those nasty days. And either weigt or sell little bits. If you don't have money to pay your bills, probably shouldn't make risky investments. Being a good investor as you need to be a good investor in the up markets in the down markets.
