I think there's also just an implicit understanding that when you're putting on a play, you're making art that's ephemeral. And once that audience is gone, once that story is over, once that show closes, this particular piece of art doesn't exist anymore. That's kind of a way of accessing these kind of larger questions that the filmmakers are trying to ask. I mean, look at Babylon and how that movie ends with a diageses on the entire concept of we're make art that will outlive us. We're making artthat people will connect to a century from now when we're all dust.
