In music school for a long time, you do a hard cut. And what it does is it adds a little digital blip at the end of an audio file and brilliant composers like Brian Eno will take that digital mistake and turn it into something actually, actually real. They're going to then throw reverb on it. It's going to just totally change the entire emotion of whatever that was produced. The A.I. lowers the bar for everybody to take part as an artist in culture and society. You just have to be brave enough.
In this supper club episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk with Travis Neilson about his work at Google, YouTube music, and where AI is at now, and where it’s headed in the future.
