The Impact of Climate Change on Food Supply Chains

Food transportation accounts for almost 20% of global food emissions. A recent paper found that impacts of climate change and extreme weather events can really ripple through to a range of non-food sectors which are not directly impacted by climate change. So it's like we have a direct impact taking place in one region, in one sector. And then that impact spills over to other regions and other sectors of the economy because of the interconnected nature.
