Is There a Difference in Distance Control?
The biggest change in my lifetime and the equipment, it wasn't the ball, it was the driver. The pros distance control is so consistent because the equipment is so forgiving that it's almost impossible to make a carry on a golf course that they don't ever miss. If you made them hit driver 50 times and their average carry was 300 yards, I think the margin for error now, like the worst drive out of 50 is going to go like 294, 295.
