The Dialectics of Nature and Society
Lucott focused on what i call the dialectics of nature and society. He had basically discovered mark's notion of metabolism and its relation to labor. Lukoc din develop all of that, but he did focus, in his later work, through his social ontology, on how labor, labor, had to be understood in terms of the social metabolism. The social metabolism is really the way in which human beings mediate between nature and Society. And an alienated form, if that, an alienated social metabolism and alienated production, is in conflict with the universal metabolism of nature, you end up with an ecological crisis.
