Sally Kohn: I feel like sometimes in the mindfulness practice that I've done, still building that practice myself, there's sometimes this thing of focus on the breath. And so that seems to me very attention based. But then another kind of a practice will be, okay, let your mind wander, pay attention to the impressions that are coming up,. That seems very awareness based. She says both are really cool conception of it.Kohn: What does attention give you versus what does awareness give you? Like, why would I want to train these things?
