In 1 Corinthians, Paul and Silas are arrested. They proclaim the good news to the jailer and they baptize him in his whole household. The next day it is revealed that these are Roman citizens. And so you can see how the people in charge magistrates were a little bit embarrassed when they found out thatPaul and Silas were Roman citizens.
