The Importance of Associative Motion in Verbs

Aspectual senses are pretty common with the cislocut of having either an deceptive or change of state sense and translocative indicating the endpoint of activity. So I think especially in some of the North African languages, you can get really interesting. And as we know from speaking into European languages, where it's like up or down or over and under, we can take on all sorts of interesting senses when combined with verbs. Just as in things like tense and aspect might have distinctions neutralized in different kinds of clauses, associated motion prefix, affixes, whatever, might be or forbidden in subordinate clauses or in nominalized clauses.
