The Absurdity of Doing the Right Thing

In Ecclesiastes, Solomon tells a story of a poor man who through his wives and shrewd and very courageous behavior uncovered a plot against the city. He was a hero and he saved the city, but there were some rich people in the city who figured out a way to steal that poor man's credit for themselves by manipulating the media. And in the end, when the history books got written, the rich manipulators were honored and the poor man's heroism was totally ignored. Where is the justice in that? Haven't you had the experience of doing the right thing and not being rewarded for it? Even worse, you watched somebody who did wrong actually get the reward that you deserve
