The Cost of a Computer for Patent Writing
Pathematicians were publishing something like a pattern a day. They weren't given budgets to buy a computer, so they overtook an existing computer that maybe getting the details slightly wrong. The Unix people were breaking everything at night when the patent people had finished. But Todd is setting comes up all the time and it was like, yeah, I'll do some typesetting stuff.
