What's the Consensus on Traumatized Veterans and Soldiers?

Consensus emerged that eliminates possibility of a traumatized person being an active agent in the traumatic event. And what you get increasingly is it's an experience of life threat and of having been victimized. The one caveat: There certainly is a sense in American psychiatry that if you were abused as a child, you can become an abused. But it's not built weirdly into the definition of the actual formal category.
