The innkeeper pointed him up the stairs, and in minutes, robin was dead to the world. When he woke up 12 hours later, feeling like a new man, he rolled over and smiled at the man who was sharing the bed with him. A friar had stopped by the inn in a desperate attempt to find lodging for the night because the storm had just cropped up.
