Is Fasting a Form of Prayer?
I grew up in the missionary Baptist tradition which is not southern Baptist, it was in the south but kind of part of a denomination of Black Baptist churches. I would hear people speak in glossolalia in the church occasionally but it was never anything taught or addressed,. Not really embraced, not really shunned, it was just kind of there. It sounds like similar to prayer in general, you utilize fasting on both kind of a rhythm basis of Thursdays or whatever that is and also on a special needs basis of like we need breakthrough. Am I here in that right or absolutely? Absolutely.
