Do Modern Scholars Have Any Guesses About Who Wrote the Zohar?

The zohar was written around 12 70 a, that's towards the end of the thirteenth century. Gesham sholam previously thought that one person was responsible for the whole thing. The more modern scholarship tend to think of it so dove. Its it's a text built by committee. And that's why it's so uneven.
