Introduction
Elie Cross: Skateboarding is a subgenre of alt-rock built on skateboarding culture. There were plenty of legendary rock acts that found their first fans among the skate crowd. This music goes back a lot further than you might expect too. So I think it's time we give skatepunk a bit of a spin.
