Introduction
i want to show you two back to back stories in scripture that illustrate his heart for the people right in front of him, being fully engaged in the moment. The first one we find in luke's gospel is jesus walking into jericho. And as he is walking in, a blind beggar named bartemaus cries out, jesus, son of david, have mercy on mee. Jesus isn't going to stop for some guy who's begging on the side of the road.
