I think the most important thing here is that you need to be clear, honest and don't over promise. Sometimes people aren't clear about their availability because they feel like it's going to put the other person off. You're better off building a relationship one break at a time than saying this is where we're going to get to it. It really worked for me at the time. I felt like I didn't want that response.
