The Importance of Intermediaries in Art History
Matthias: What we looked at was actually a secondary intermediaries in the secondary market. We also had an eye on museums that would curate artworks created by appropriation artists. So for us, it was not really interesting to have a list of artists, consider as appropriation artists or not with maybe 10 or 20 or so. We want to have a bit of a larger data set. And then they select over thousands of characteristics of artworks and artists as well.
