The Most Important Thing in Your Trout Setup Is the Leader.

The most important thing to get into presentation, whether it's above the water or underneath is the leader. Small flies do not hold their seam or their position as sort of readily as a larger fly might. So we have to adjust. We need to go with thinner tippet a lot of times. And that comes in body positioning too, where we put ourselves to make the cast.
