The Four Types of Stories That Stick
In the beginning it was one of the first books that I read that they really confirmed to me that this is where I wanted to be. So a couple of other people that inspired me a fair bit were Sean Callahan who wrote putting stories to work and Matthew Dix. He's he's the pository of all storytelling knowledge in my mind these days, although his types of stories are longer than most of the stuff I end up telling.
