Idealism and Materialism - Is There a Creator?
Marxists are revolutionary materialists. For us, that all that exists is matter in motion. That's all that exists in this universe and ideas and consciousness is merely the phenomena of the material brain organized in a certain way. And our ideas are a reflection of the material world. They don't have any independent existence from the material world and the material brain. Idealism inverts that relationship. This idea of creation is very much central to idealism. It logically flows that a creation myth is necessary for the idealist camp within philosophy.
