The Left White Left-Right Dichotomy in Religion
I'm not sure which labels will really work but somebody of my rather composite and quite possibly very inconsistent position is sort of not on the left and not on the right because now I like traditional family values. There is something in religion that is actually extraordinarily concerned with the masses and with the people. If it is to significantly push back against this apparently fatal spiral into neo-capitalistic inequality and increasing inequities of today's world I think it's probably going to be more successful on a humanitarian and compassionate level than by interfering in processes of political reform, as they tend to subvert ethics.
