Three million pesticide poisonings occur annually worldwide and resulting about 220,000 deaths. The main ways they end up in the environment are through aerial drift,. Evaporation, surface runoff and leaching into groundwater. And so I'll look at those in turn and then have an overall examination of the environmental impact of organic agriculture.
