The Difference Between Amazon and Government

One argument about ama the difference between Amazon and government uh sort of the obvious difference is that Amazon has profit motive. You can tell when Amazon is succeeding or not by you know how much revenue it brings in what its gross margins are like with politics there doesn't seem to be an equivalent falsification method for a couple reasons one is obviously the lack of profit um another would be like lobbying is actually sort of antithetical to that. I think the third but most fundamental issue is that democracy is in some sense a popularity contest and so people can support things that are bad for them and that's democracy.
