How a Just God Can Justify the Ungodly
Paul's gospel is, at its core, how a righteous god can justify the ungodly. Now our sin is not counted against us, because it was counted against jesus on the cross. So he says, verse 27, then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. Se, he says, by what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. For we hold that one is justified by faith, apart from works of the law.
