The First Time I'd Had to Confront Myself
There was a lot of brass and wood paneling in the dressing room. I think an Arctic monkey lives in there now, which I just loved idea of one of them rattling around. There's lovely in-built carpentry, like drawers and like... All of it. Drawers just for your ties. Do you know what I mean? It was like that. What type of person am I? Ha. This is the type of person I am. And, uh, and I moved into the house. Couldn't avoid it anymore. Was that the first time since you had become famous and successful as a singer that you'd had to confront yourself? I think so.
