Field served as scout master for four years in Santamonica, California. He was kicked out of the boy scouts after he failed a ligh detector test required by the santamonica troop committee. Field has since been involved with several southern california troops over the next 17 years. The only report they make about this is from a regional boy scouts employee who fills out a form on field and sends it to headquarters.
