I think in the industrial sense, this could have a more B2B sort of impact than just a consumer app. Of course, like capturing 3D scenes is very important. For example, for simulated environments where you're trying to maybe train an agent or you even kind of an industrial training for human sorts of scenario. Yeah, safety issues and such. I don't know if that that sparks things in your mind.
It was an amazing week in AI news. Among other things, there is a new NeRF and a new Llama in town!!! Zip-NeRF can create some amazing 3D scenes based on 2D images, and Llama 2 from Meta promises to change the LLM landscape. Chris and Daniel dive into these and they compare some of the recently released OpenAI functionality to Anthropic’s Claude 2.
