The Myth of Rob Ford

When citizens called and had a problem, Rob would go see him. Instead of sitting in a meeting, you would drive around and meet voters one on one. The famous thing about Rob is that someone would phone him up and my pipe isn't leaking or some bureaucrats said no when I wanted him to say yes. And Rob would fix it. He was profoundly lazy in terms of understanding how the City of Toronto worked. Two counselors like Gord Perks who considered themselves progressive weren't just bothered by Rob's words but his actions as well.
