The Role of Psychology and Mental Health in PE Survivorship

There are now a handful of studies that specifically focus on quality of life after PE. For the most part, we do see a vulnerable subset of people who either maintain a poor quality of life or who get worse over time. We know that there is a risk factor for depression in these patients. And this will form the basis of developing the role of psychology and mental health in PE survivorship.
