The Kitchen and Domestic Violence

The vast majority of serious domestic violence occurs in the kitchen. In this case, a man was sawing into his ex-girlfriend's neck with a machete type knife. He then smashed her over the head during an argument but she wasn't unconscious and was definitely dead by the time he tried to cut it off. She was long gone before we got there. It looked like a bad prop from a horror film, you know Like sometimes you see that kind of thing and it just doesn't even register that it's real If the person is alive and screaming or crying, yeah, that hits you with reality and you feel it deep in your soul.
