Is There a Relationship Between Family Court and the Criminal Court?

i was dealing with a case of domestic abuse, and we were debating how they should be set out. It tells us th we should be moving away from scotch schedules, but it doesn't tell us what to do. So we still don't have an answer to how to place these allegations in a proper form, or practical form? No, indeed not. Weere in a bit of a hiatus. At present, we have the judiciary finding their way to the best way of dealing with these very difficult issues without a clear steer.
