Non Being, Is It a Th?

Non being is something a counterposed to god, against which he must move in order to create the visible and invisible world. In defence of the faith, van tils can say this, and i find this to be a very clear statement. If god is fully self contained, then there was no sort of half existence and no sort of non being that had any power over against him. And vantill wants to deny that there is anything beyond god that is resistant to god. That is somehow, as we're going to say later on, maybe this downward pull tothe things that are toward nothingness.
