The Tension Between Preparation and Trusting Instinct

Tension between like how firmly or loosely do I hold my theory versus like let my curiosity drive? How much do I let my preparation, you know, drive the ship versus just trusting my end to instinct? And I think that tension is central to not just interviewing, it's central to like writing, we go through the same thing. So I'm just curious like your thoughts on that that central tension and and how you kind of again wrestle with it and find the appropriate a balance.
