I hope many people will gain by reading your book is an understanding that ideas really do matter as Russell Kirk famously said. We have 41% of Americans under age 35 who think the first amendment is dangerous because you might use your freedom of speech to say something that would hurt someone else's feelings. America is about each of us protecting each other's right to be wrong. So now we can wrestle with ideas and when Americans start to believe that encountering an idea you didn't already know might itself be a form of violence then we are in a civilizational decline.
