The Pandemic and the Deaths on Our Highways
Prior to the pandemic, there was overwhelming levels of traffic congestion in our cities. Crash rates did not necessarily go down because people were driving slower. Now we've got work from home and a huge percentage of the population no longer has to commute at nine to five. And so now you have a lot of vehicles still on the road going very, very fast,. with a lot of randomness still built in. It's that combination, remember, high speeds and randoms. That's the fatal combination.
