"I'm a signed female at birth, don't bind at this time and I'm frequently misgendered. If I present with a skirt and or before I cut my hair, people who supposedly have some inkling of trans issues have questioned my appearance," she says. "That's something that we have to do in order to get to a place where everyone can wear a skirt ... Everyone can be that whatever gender they want."
