Joseph Smith's Account of the First Vision
Joseph Smith wrote an 1832 account of the first vision claiming that he was that the Lord visited him. He may have written it down, scrapped it, which just appears to be what he did. And then all of a sudden now he writes this revelation and basically puts himself in a corner with regard to the first vision. The church really tries to avoid saying we worship Joseph. But yeah, it's just it's a mess.
