Who Are You?

Ramana Maharshi asked Sally Smith, "Who are you?" She replied that she was the person who played Dorothy in Wizard of Oz. He then asks her to think about what has happened to her since being born. Is there a continuity of being? Wasn't it the same being that looked in the mirror throughout the years?
