There are a lot of performance experts and longevity doctors promoting intermittent fasting. But it's in relation to obese middle-aged individuals, majority of the time who are pre-diabetic or already have diabetes. So I think again, when an athlete is listening and reading books like LifeSpan they need to think about what their purpose is for fasting. If you're really, really big and fat and have poor metabolic health that maybe fasting is very beneficial for you. And then you'll probably see really good results, including some fasting within there.
