"I was pretty competent and then I studied philosophy and then I couldn't tie my shoes," he says. "My wife actually uses that as kind of a standing joke ... She'll come back to somebody watching, at least he's not a brain surgeon." He disagrees with the notion that you're a philosopher and that philosophers can't do anything.
